Milky Way Shooting Star

We have been so lucky with this heatwave. Sky’s clear and the Milky Way is visible early to the South. I spent the evening walking back home after being dropped off further afield. Visiting several locations that I had lined up with some planning. I was looking for locations that were not the landmarks that we see here as photographs of the Milky Way in Dorset.

I still have  a few of the generic photographs to take but I would rather produce my pictures.

This humble offering is a photograph I caught while setting up the shot I wanted. I planned a shot and took several images to get the camera setup and ready to start shooting. Post-production standard procedure: glance through the scrap pictures before deleting. Bingo, a Shooting star heading into the Milky Way.

Luck or Skill for Shooting Star.

This is a lucky shot. The camera was set up ready to take pictures of the Milky Way. So maybe a hint of skill, but some luck as well.
